Come one, come all to the Merry TUBACHRISTMAS concert, a group of more than 175 area tuba, sousaphone, euphonium, and baritone players will present the 39th annual Dallas concert of holiday carols. Mail List King Pro on this page.  Jack Delaney, director of bands and professor of music at SMU, will serve as the 2016 guest conductor. The concert is free and open to the public. All area tuba, sousaphone, euphonium, and baritone players are cordially invited to join the performance. There is a $10 registration fee for performers. The music book, Carols for a Merry TUBACHRISTMAS, is available for $20 at registration for those who need one.

This same book is used every year at all TUBACHRISTMAS events nationwide. Performers are encouraged to dress in weather-appropriate attire and bring a music stand. About TUBACHRISTMAS TUBACHRISTMAS was conceived in 1974 as a tribute to the late artist/teacher William J. Bell, born on Christmas Day, 1902.

The first TUBACHRISTMAS was conducted by the late Paul Lavalle in New York City's Rockefeller Plaza Ice Rink on Sunday, December 22, 1974.
